He was predeceased by : his parents, Fay and Louisa; his stepmother Lavina Wasmund Reitzel; his daughter Trisha Marie Reitzel; his son-in-law Larry Smith; and his mother-in-law Barb Plotner (Mike).
He is survived by : his wife Angie Fischbach; his children, Donna Rae Smith, Rhonda K. Hughes, Teri Jean Sathoff (Kent) and Daryl R. "Butch" Reitzel (Genia); his grandchildren, Sherryl Surrena (Jeff), Josh Bacon, Jennifer Mason (Dominic), Jacob Reitzel, Mat Hughes (Kirby), Sam Smith, Olivia Kincaide (Josh) and Demi Reitzel (Kristian Clardie); his great grandchildren, Jazmine, John Gerard, Eimear, Kate, Paige, Norah, Nolan, Vann, Daehle, Caden, James, Theo, Logan, Nora, Romeo and Osiris; his siblings-in-law, Brent Fischbach (Elizabeth) of Klamath Falls, OR, Camren Plotner (Courtney) of Dixon and Amy Burtlow of Walnut Hill, IL; and his father-in-law Jim Fischbach (Jan) of Sycamore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock River Hospice & Home in his memory.
