He was predeceased by : his father David C. Hardin; his daughter Ashley N. Hardin; his brother John Stewart; and his grandparents, Bob, Annie Odell Hereford and Odie Lee Hardin.

He is survived by : his wife Kimberly A. Hardin (Bennett) of Sterling; his mother Julia C. Hardin (Hereford); his children, Melissa Williams (Joshua), Joshua Hardin (Danisha), Tiffany Hardin, Nathaniel Hardin and Lindsey Hardin; his sisters, Veronica Hardin and Valerie Parker; his cousins, Curt Smith and Phyllis Dillard; and his close friends, Derant Degraffenreid, Gordon and Martha Harris, Sr.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to Davita Kidney Care in Sterling.
