He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McClerren of Rock Falls; his children, Debbie Fahs (Ed) of Ashton, Vicky Owen (Patrick) of Franklin Grove, Ken Miller (Sharon) of Stoutsville, MO and Lisa Hatten (Tom) of Rock Falls; his grandchildren, Aaron Harms (Devona) of Byron, Carissa Hillison (Brian) of Woosung, Hillary Hill (Cody) of Dixon, Nathan Fahs of Ashton, Josh Shaw (Jen) of Rock Falls, Jacob Owen (Taylor) of Davis Junction, Ben Owen (Emily) of Elburn, Kelly Schryver (Trent) of Rock Falls, Matt Miller (Jerrika) of Sterling, Sam Hatten (Jessica) of Loveland, CO and Alivia Hatten (Brendan) of Rock Island; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Dani, Kendra, Bailey, Jovana, Hadley, Henry, Jaxon, Dottie, Stetson, Madason McFadden (James), Kennedy, Jaycee, Abbie, Ryan, Chevella, Brodie, Zeke and Izzy; and his great great grandchildren, Stetson and Corbyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Open Bible Church (2105 E Rock Falls Rd, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to Allure of Sterling Memory Care.
