She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schmittler and Bertha Cowles Schmittler; her nephew Brad Wampler; and her brother-in-law Howard Maurice. She is survived by: her husband Charles Harper; her daughters, Rindy Wohlstadter (Scott) of Vero Beach and Karen Harper of Woodridge; her grandchildren, Cody Calkins (Rachel) of Naperville and Brittney Mills of Dixon; her daughter Samantha Wohlstadter of Titusville; her sister Eleanor Maurice of Gulfport, MS; her nephews, Mark Wampler (Kathy) and Kevin Wampler; and her great grandchildren, Calvin and Teddy Calkins. She is also survived by her extended family in Zapata, TX, many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
