With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Collins of Rock Falls, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Bingenheimer and Nina Bingenheimer (Dronenburg); her husband Robert J. Collins; her son Robert Lewis Collins; her son-in-law Richard Schmidt; her sister Mildred Wilsey; and her grandson Gatlin Collins.

She is survived by : her children, Ed Collins (Kathleen) of Tennessee Ridge, TN, Vickie Collins of Gallatin, TN, Cynthia Collins of Lindenhurst and Linda Rolen (Don) of Sterling; and her daughter-in-law Sara Collins of Rock Falls. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Schilling Funeral Home (702 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081).

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Lydia's Circle at the Big Red Church.
