He is survived by: his close friend Maxine Stern; his cousins, Glen Frank (Charline) of Morrison, Duane Lou (Judy) of Rock Falls, Gary Lou (Mary) and Bendeta Fuller; and his nieces and nephews, Pat Bohman (Mark), John Matern (Tammy), Barb Matern, Robin Newton (Russell) and Edward Matern (Holly).
