He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Capp and Laura Capp (Buyers); his siblings, Robert Capp and Dorothy Henrey; and his great grandchild Jeremey Flohr.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Morris; his children, Cynthia Pace Kennedy (Ken), Connie Johnson (Barry), James E. Capp Jr. (Cathy) and Michael Capp (Joan); his sister Betty McCormick; and his sister-in-law Joann Crocker (Betty McCormick). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
