He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodolfo Carrillo and Guadalupe Carrillo (Hernandez); his stepmother Dolores Carrillo (Lola); his siblings, Matilde Granados (Mauricio) and Lino Carrillo; his stepbrother Salvador Diaz; his brothers-in-law, Dale Crandall and Harold E. Crandall; and his parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Harold E. Crandall.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Crandall (Smeltzer) of Sterling; his children, Jared Carrillo, Michael Carrillo, Carl Carrillo (Edna), Dan Carrillo (Melissa), Christine Moody (Howard), David Carrillo (Kelli), Mark Smeltzer (Julie) and Karyn Smeltzer (John Lopez); his sisters, Lupe Larson (Eric), Concha Sitter (Randy) and Anita Aguilar (Javier); and his siblings-in-law, Mary L. Carrillo, Roberta Diaz, Teresa Crandall, Diana Verkruysse (Kent), Pam Crandall and Douglas Crandall (Rachael). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to St. Mary Catholic Church and the Sterling Schools Foundation.
