We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2024, at the age of 81, John J. Juarez of Rock Falls, Illinois, born in Savanna, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Juarez to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan J. Juarez Sr. and Joanna Juarez (De Avila); his wife Hope Caudillo; his son Brian K. Caudillo; and his sister Millie Metzler.

He is survived by : his children, Johanna Wagner (Rob), James Juarez (Elizabeth), John Juarez II (Nichole G.) and Joseph Juarez (Toby); his siblings, Marvin "Tony" Juarez, Felix "Bill" Juarez, Paul Juarez (Barbara), Mary Louise Carrillo, Madeline Carrillo, Anita "Judy" Orosco, Carmen Gonzales, Suzie Guevara (Mike) and Yolanda Hernandez (Dan); and his granddaughter Madonna Caudillo. He is also survived by Several grand-children and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schilling Funeral Home (702 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established to purchase a bench and plaque at the lower dam in Rock Falls.
