He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Balsley and Ida May Balsley (Gunderson); his son Gary Balsley; and his siblings, Don Balsley, Earl Balsley, Lloyd Balsley, Jessie Balsley, Alice Anderson and Dorothy Stumbo.
He is survived by: his wife Lois DeGroot; his children, Judy Rains (Howard) of Lewiston, ID, Suzan Davis of Sterling, Ricky Balsley (Connie) of Sterling, Michael Balsley of Dixon, David Balsley (Peggy) of Dixon and Patrick Balsley (Anne) of Rock Falls; and his brother Virgil Balsley of Clear Lake, CA. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
