With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon D. Lane of Rock Falls, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Leon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Leon Lane; his sons, Nathan Hutchins of Sterling and Nicolas Lane of DeKalb; his half-sisters, Tina Landes and Marla Morris of St. Charles; his grandson Gavin Nelson Lane; his mother Faye Haas (White); his sister Chrissy Bea; and his grandmother Martha Holden.
