She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Waldschmidt and Lillian Waldschmidt (Elbert); her husband Lloyd Conklen; and her siblings, Theoclete Wolf, Bernadine Coats, Betty Miller, Geraldine Wike, Francis, Donald, Harvey and Richard Waldschmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Miller (Mike) of Monterey, TN, Ronald Conklen (Debra) of Sterling, Susan Knowles of Columbia City, IN, Brenda Miller (Dennis) of Rock Falls and Sharon Rude (Brock) of Sterling; her siblings, Gloria Sproul (David) of Sterling and Henry Waldschmidt Jr. (Marty) of Sterling; her grandchildren, Hillary Bond (Jason), Meredith Sanderson (Colin), Amber Masters (Corey), Amy Varner (Chris Megalis), Breanne Hallam (Matt), Logan Knowles (Sara), Shelby Miller (Tawny), Nick Rude (Laura) and Brady Rude (Zoe Framke); and her great grandchildren, Cora Bond, Ramona Sanderson, Buchanan Sanderson, Dorothy Sanderson, Emma Olson, Andrew Masters (Isabella), Taylor Masters, Brock Menefee, Hailey Hallam, Harper Hallam, Rosalyn Knowles, Bodie Miller and Erik Rude.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Gianna's House in her memory.
