He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Delson and Carmel Mary Timmons (Roman); and his siblings, Noralee Stowell, Carmel Henderson, Judy Arey, Jean Ann Wilson and Duane Timmons.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Michelle "Shelly" Schipper (Scott) of Morrison and James Timmons (Dawn) of Sterling; his brother Paul Timmons (Sally) of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Sean Johnson, Mark Michels, Joseph Michels (Jennifer), Travis Schipper, Monica Nielsen (Alex), Haylie and Amiah Schipper. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (708 10th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in his memory may be given to St. Andrew Church.
