He was predeceased by: his parents, Crawford Hoagland and Emily Hoagland (Geidner); and his brothers, Brian and Mark Hoagland. He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Wellman; his sons, Tracey Hoagland (Kristen) of Rock Falls and Matt Hoagland (Nicole) of Dekalb; his grandchildren, Courtney, Kylee, Brenden and Logan; his great grandchildren, Willow and Walker; and his brothers, Jim Hoagland (Mary) of Alamo, TX and Tim Hoagland (Kelly) of Rock Falls. He is also survived by his fur companion "Jimmy"; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in his memory to the Rock Falls American Legion Post 902.
