She was predeceased by : her parents, Amelida Trevino (Luna) and Fidel Trevino. She is survived by : her husband Jose Chavez; her children, Fidel Chavez (Jamie), Jose Chavez (Michelle), Jeronimo Chavez (Marissa) and Araceli Munn (Dell); her grandchildren, Dillon, Santana, Cereno, Maya, Taylor, Tre, Malayna, Karma and Olivia; and her great grandchildren, Cassian, Alayah, Isaiah, Ace and Eri Katalina. She is also survived by two sisters, and four brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Arcelia Trevino de Chavez.
