It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. Johnson of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Edwin Johnson and Martha A. Johnson (Ackerlind); her husband Earl M. Johnson; her sons, David and James; and her sister Lucille Udehn.
She is survived by: her son Robert Johnson (Sherry) of McHenry, IL; and her granddaughters, Candace, Heidi and Brandy. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
