Barbara Barger Muffley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Barger Muffley (Rock Island, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hall and Phyllis Moore Hall; her husbands, Jim Barger and Harry Muffley; and her brothers, Norman and Louis Hall.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marilyn Douglas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
