She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Evan Waters and Julia Marie Waters (Lerch); her husband Donald Richard Hartwig; her pet Kit Kat; and her siblings, David, Leo, Jack, Charles Waters and Marilyn Lange.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hartwig, Judith Johnson (John), James Hartwig (Martha) of Robins, IA, Robert Hartwig (Marcia) of Princeton, IL and Jack Hartwig of Sterling Heights, MI.; and her grandchildren, Misty Sierens (Michael), Andrea Klopfenstein (Patrick), Eric Hartwig (Amy), Alan Hartwig (Bridget), Ashley Carlin (Aaron) and Lindsay Monier (Thomas). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Pius X Church or Alleman High School.
