He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lyon and Alta Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Tompkins; his children, Brett Lyon of New York, NY, Brandon Lyon and Tanya Lang of East Moline, IL; his son-in-law Jeffrey Lang; his son David Lyon of Rock Island, IL; his brother Rolland "Terry" Lyon of Andalusia, IL; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Christine, Michael and Laura.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trimble Funeral Home (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
