It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Young of Rock Island, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Walter R. Johnson; her great-grandparent Sarah B. Hansen; and her brother Butch Pepper. She is survived by : her mother Fairy Mae Fontenoy; her husband Greg; her children, Raymond Gray, ReJeana Gray, Nicky Gray and Marie Pauley; her stepchildren, Tiffany Tapia and Justin Manley; and her siblings, Roy Johnson, Terry Johnson and Margie Richardson. She is also survived by many grandchildren; a couple great-grandchildren.
