He is survived by : his girlfriend Kathy Elliott; and his children, Charles DeBates of Moline, IL, Tony DeBates of Moline, IL, Phillip DeBates of Bettendorf, IA, Tisha Edwards of Colona, IL, Shannon Brewster (Junior) of Wheatland, IA and Jonni Elliott of Rock Island, IL. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren.
