With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Delle Thompson of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis George and Mary Helen Daily Butcher; her brothers, Emerson and Leon Butcher; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Lyons and Roger Carlson.
She is survived by: her former husband Donald LaVerne Thompson; her children, Michael Thompson, Joel Thompson (Brenda) and Donella Anderson (Jerome) of Macomb, IL; her grandchildren, Matthew, Ross Thompson, Isaac, Henry Thompson, Greta Teno (Joe), Emma, Lara and Aaron Anderson; her great grandchildren, Brielle Thompson and Oliver Teno; her sisters, Alice Lyons of Moline and Mable Carlson of Moline; and her sister-in-law Diane Butcher.
Memorials may be made in care of 15th Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island or the Rock Island Community Foundation.
