He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Begyn (Burns) of Andalusia, Illinois; his wife Nancy Greenwood; his daughters, Sally Serpa (Mike) of Moline and Sarah Bognar (Joshua) of Milan; his grandchildren, Andrew Serpa, Bailah, Estellah, Annah and Veirah Bognar; his siblings, Kathy Stigers (Tom), Patrick Begyn, Michael Begyn (Janet), Clarissa Stark (Chris) and Christopher Begyn (Kari); and his friends, Mike Cheek and Randy Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Dan's memory.
