Hicks, Jr. of Rock Island; the parent of his children Shirley Clay; his children, Daphanie Hicks, Marcus Hester, Philip Hicks and Shardae Hicks; and his siblings, Bennie Hicks Jr. of Rock Island and Paulette Hicks of Rock Island. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
