David Vance Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Vance and Nellie M. Vance (Adcock); and his siblings, Kenneth Vance, Caroline Humphrey, Norma Lucas and Alice Osgood.
He is survived by: his children, Michael David Vance Sprinkle of Galesburg, Vivian Faith Haahn (Steven) of Farmington and Nicole Simone "CoCo" DeVries (Tony) of El Cajon, California; and his grandchildren, Mandy, Adam, Matthew, Savannah, Ariel, Jay, Patience, Cody, Cierra and Mikayla. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Linwood Cemetery (1854 W Main St, Galesburg, IL 61401).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Island County Animal Control or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
