With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dennis E. Thompson of Rock Island, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Tommy" Thompson and Lois Thompson (Faucett). He is survived by: his wife Gail I. Staats; his daughters, Jennifer Brozovich (Jeff) and Christina Long (Jay); and his sisters, Cindy Ostrom, Marty Morrow (Danny) and Linda Thompson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
