With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donovan M. Almanza of Rock Island, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by: his parents, Nora Almanza of Rock Island and Michael McClain of East Moline; his grandparents, Nora Sylvia, Rogelio Almanza of Rock Island and Tammy Roth of East Moline; his brothers, Giovanni (Amanda Almanza), Adain Hoss of Moline, Zachary Hoss of Moline, Brice Hoss of Davenport and Andrew Hoss of Rock Island; his nieces, Amaya, Evelyn Almanza and Wrenley Hoss; and his aunts and uncles, Sylvia Almanza, Claudia Blaser, Isabel Pena (Pete), Stacey Rensburger (Mark), Matthew McClain, Nick Roth and Amanda Roth. He is also survived by numerous cousins, friends, and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
