She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Mark Phillips; her aunt Minnie Carter; and her uncles, Napolean Young and Robert Young. She is survived by: her parents, Powell McGhee and Janie McGhee (Young); and her brothers, Powell McGhee Jr. and Demares Hamilton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
