We are sad to announce that, on January 24, 2023, at the age of 72, Gary James Omilak of Rock Island, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Omilak and Marie Omilak (Posateri); and his brother Dan Omilak. He is survived by: his wife Rosie Votava; his siblings-in-law, Diane Almen (Bob) of Grafton, N. D., Allan Votava (Sue) of Grafton, N. D. and Mark Votava of Grafton, N. D.; and his close friends, John, Doree, Tom and Rhonda. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Rock Island County Humane Society or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
