He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Wilcox and Addie Wilcox (Leggett); and his siblings, Virginia Nyman, Mildred McCarty, Margaret Pitera, William Wilcox, Blanche Plumb and Marjory Vesley.
He is survived by: his wife Candy; and his children, Brittani LaMay (James Jr.), Collin Solorzano, William "Bill" Wilcox (Kathie), Steven "Duke" Wilcox, Penny Harley, Peggy Jo Wilcox and Patricia "Patti" Heise (Steve). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alleman Catholic High School or the church.
