We announce the death of Jaime Padilla Galindo of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Jaime will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Galindo and Francisca Padilla. He is survived by: his wife Blaze Medina; his children, Jaime Galindo (Christina) of Moline, Gilbert Galindo (Erica) of Moline, Alejandra Gonzalez (Eduardo) of Rock Island, Yolanda Alvarado (Ricardo) of Davenport and Angelica Galindo (Brandon Mason) of Davenport; and his grandchildren, Rosalie, Jaime "Pancho", Sergio, Abigail, Leo, Gabriella, Damian, Peyton, Veronica, Liliana, Javier, Derrick "Dee" and Kaydence. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Moline (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion (829 16th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244).
