He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Clifford Rodell and Verne Rodell (Lindahl); his wife Virginia Anson; his daughters, Dori Correa (Jose), Diane Winthurst (Troy) and Denise Hantz (Jim, Jr.); his grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer, Jenna, Brandon and Adison; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Holden, Addison, Brooklyn and Everly; his pets, Gretchen and Abby; his niece Michelle Panno Johnson; and his nephew Tony Panno (Yvonne).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
