Janet Long Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Janet Long of Rock Island, Illinois. Janet, born on August 2, 1943, passed away on July 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Barr and Margaret Barr (Crutchelow); her husband William; her children, Billy, Paula and Belinda; her sister Sandy Murphy (James); and her daughter-in-law Joan Murphy.
She is survived by: her sons, Darin Davis, Brett Davis and Daniel Long; her daughter-in-law Tammy Long; her grandchildren, Alaina Norman (Corry), Brianna Taylor (Ty), Chelsea Long, Christine Garver, Ashley Long, Dylan Long, Douglas Garver (Jenny) and Brandon Long (Janai); and her siblings-in-law, Cindy Laughead and Albert "Bud" Long. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
