Jean C. Huber Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean C. Huber of Rock Island, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vensel and Marjorie Vensel (Whisler); her sister Eileen Flood (Teri); her brother-in-law J. D. Flood; her niece Katherine Mulbrandon; her great-nephew Andrew Hobt; Thomas Tucker.
She is survived by: her husband Butch; her daughters, Heather (Larry Hufford), Amy and Tracey; her grandchildren, Taelor, Gabriel, Cainen, Jackson and Elijah; her siblings, William Vensel Jr., Judie Bennett, Kathy Schroeder, John Vensel, Mary Stroup and Barb German (David Vensel); and her close friends, Connie Ethridge, Mike Reynolds and Tammy Hogren (Tacey). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She had also been active as a room mother at the Villa and Jordan Catholic School, a leader with the Girl Scout and Daisy's, when her daughters were young and was a devoted Covid mask maker.
