With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffery D. Rapp of Rock Island, Illinois, born in Geneseo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2024 at the age of 48. He was predeceased by: his father Harland Rapp; his uncles, Howard, Gary Rapp, Dennis Rapp and Raymond VanSkike; his aunt Jackie Wachtel; and his cousins, Lori Doyle, Dana VanDyke and Frannie Wachtel.
He is survived by: his mother Cindy Rapp (Wachtel); his siblings, Jon Rapp (Katie) of Aledo, Dawn Lang (Lucky) of Bettendorf and Angela Rapp of Cambridge; his aunts, Elaine VanSkike, Donna Rapp, Sharon Verstraete (Gerry), Patricia Seys (John) and Cindy VanDyke (Marvin); and his nieces and nephews, Skyler Rapp (Calli), Ricky Anderson (Amanda), Anthony Anderson, Veronika Lang, Ashley Anderson and Alicia Anderson. He is also survived by eight great-nephews; one great-niece; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the family, which will be distributed amongst Jeffery's favorite charities.
