He was predeceased by: his parents, James Irvin McDonald and Gladys Ruth Harrison McDonald; his son Jason McDonald; and his siblings, Aretha Kimmons, Eunice Raye Smith, Wayne Allen McDonald, Mary Eunice Jacks, Charles Edward McDonald, Esau McDonald, Dorotha Johnson and Ezra Nate McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Debra McDonald; his granddaughter Sydney Michelle McDonald; his siblings, Martha Baltimore (Kenneth), Willie B. McDonald and James R. McDonald; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Heimbeck. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the People's Missionary Baptist Church (553 23rd St, Rock Island, IL 61201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
