She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Jenkins Scharfenberg and Walter D Scharfenberg; her husband Russell Maynard Vance; and her siblings, Daniel L. Scharfenberg, Thomas G. Scharfenberg, Michael D. Scharfenberg and Walda L. Scharfenberg Laster.
She is survived by: her sister Judy; her son Stephen Vance; her granddaughters, Hayden and Harper Vance of Rock Island, IL; her siblings, Kathryn J Scharfenberg Giese of Branson, MO, Robin D. Scharfenberg Locke (Daniel) of Davenport, IA and William L. Scharfenberg of Cathedral City, CA; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Vance Wilson of Milan, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
