She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Ahlquist and Vivyonne Ahlquist (Ekstrum); her siblings-in-law, David Beagley and Linda Mayer; and her niece Maggie Mayer.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristine Anna Marie Mayer of Rock Island; her husband Rev. Greg Mayer; her son G. Allen Mayer (Carey) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Conrad and Katherine Mayer; her sister Janice Beagley of Ames; and her brothers-in-law, David Mayer of Oil City, Jeffrey Mayer of Sandwich and Philip Mayer (Betsy) of Somonauk.
The family asks that memorials be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or First Lutheran Church of Rock Island or to one of the many charities and causes that she supported.
