She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Zaehringer and Edna Zaehringer; her son Gaylord Mills of Thornburg, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Debra Mills; her siblings, Ralph, Denny, Larry Zaehringer and Donna Bert; her brothers-in-law, Dean DeKeyrel (Mary), Steve Goodnight and Carl Brady; and her parents-in-law, Verlea and Louie DeKeyrel.
She is survived by: her husband James DeKeyrel; her children, John Mills of Conesville, Iowa, Richard Mills (Lyn) of Leesburg, Florida, Joan Parchert of Leesburg, Florida, Clint DeKeyrel of Taylor Ridge, Illinois and Nikki Fourdyce (Todd) of Arroyo Grande, California.; and her close friends, Nancy Coulter and George. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one fifth-generation grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
