It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Lacefield of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Jane Lacefield (Smith) and Reverend Hardin Lacefield of East Moline; and his brother Reverend James Hall Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Hardin Lacefield Jr. (Frank) of Cedar Rapids, IA, John Lacefield (Kim) of Rock Island, IL, Dewey Lacefield (Patty) of Rock Island, IL, Alvin Lacefield, George Lacefield of Davenport, IA, Paul Lacefield (Segunda) of East Moline, IL, Janet Collins of Davenport, IA, Elsa Dixon (Ervin) of Roseville, MI and Georgia Westbrook of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
