With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Lou Gutierrez of Rock Island, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy G. Hershey and Lillie Hershey (Poole); her spouse Epifanio Gutierrez; her daughter Valerie Gutierrez; and her brothers, Roy Hershey, Wendel Parrish and Wayne Parrish.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Teel (James), Mark Gutierrez, Brian Gutierrez (Patty), Brent Gutierrez and Lisa Ellison (Ken); and her brother Truman Parrish (Sheila). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rock Island for Masses.
