He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Karns (Thoman). He is survived by: his father Gary Karns of Ashland City, Tennessee; and his siblings, James Karns of Freelandville, John Karns of Sherrard and Amanda Karns of Franklin, Tennessee. He is also survived by four nieces; and two nephews.
