He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannette Dixon; and his brother George. He is survived by: his sons, Richard II (Betty) of Montgomery, IL, Joseph (Louann) of Moline and Jeffrey (Lori) of Kenosha, WI; his grandchildren, Brian Brems (Genna), Andrew Brems (Jaime), Joseph II Brems (Lesley), Kristina Begyn, Alexia Johnson (Aaron), Alyssa, Hannah and Ali Brems; his great grandchildren, Braeden Begyn, Kai and Eden Brems; and his grandchildren, Landon, Jack Johnson and Holden Ebeling-Brems. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
