With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Eagle in Rock Island, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florine Eagle (Marshall) and Richard Andrew Eagle; and his son Tim. He is survived by: his children, Tom Eagle (Jennifer) and Jennifer Long (Mike); his daughter-in-law Kathy Eagle; his grandchildren, Evan Eagle (Audrey), Alyson Eagle, Lyndsey Eagle and Andrew Eagle; and his great grandchildren, Aspen Grace Eagle and Archer Timothy Eagle.
Contributions to melanoma research during that time totaled over $250, 000. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept monetary donations which will be contributed to the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center and Dr. Albertini to assist in the support of melanoma research on his behalf.
