Rick Cassini Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rick Cassini of Rock Island, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Cassini and Beverly Cassini (Burke); his son Damian; his brother Peter D. Cassini; and his brother-in-law Michael Lange.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri Glimpse; his children, Andrew Cassini (Autumn), Nisa Cassini (John Olsen) and Angela Kelley (Jon); and his siblings, Regina, Pamela (Tom), Gregory (Reba) and Michael (Lorraine). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established at a later date.
