He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Babers and Emmerlee Babers (Gandy). He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hickman; his children, Crystal Montgomery (Jamie) and Christopher Babers; his stepdaughter Tarica Gay; his grandchildren, Jordan, Jelani Montgomery, Amari, Chris, Jeramiah and Malcom Babers; his stepgrandchildren, Ashlie, Aquiaya and Jaydah; his sister Bernadine Plummer; and his aunts, Castella Anderson and Erma Jean Babers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
