He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Bloomer-Fauble and Dorothy Bloomer-Fauble; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Annie; his children, Michelle Peterson of Waynesville, NC, Douglas Bloomer of Bradenton, FL and Todd Bloomer (Makenzie) of Jonesboro, GA; and his stepchildren, David DeWilfond (Brenda) of Calgary, Alberta, Lisa Christopher (Jay) of Moline and Terry Christopher (Tedgie) of Moline. He is also survived by his sister and a cherished group of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wendt Funeral Home (1811 15th St Pl, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 15th Avenue Christian Church (3600 15th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A burial was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 15th Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island, IL, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
