He was predeceased by: his daughter Vicky Johnson; his grandson Joshua Johnson; and his siblings, Raymond, Mike, Dennis Townsley, Sandy Townsley, Vicky and Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Lampo; his sons, Floyd "Bubba" Johnson of Rock Island and Anthony Johnson (Sarah) of Clinton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Caleb, Ellianah, Lily, Tressie, Floyd Jr. and Cicely; and his brother Rick Townsley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Moline (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265).
