Samuel Keith Dusenberry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 84, Samuel Keith Dusenberry of Rock Island, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Franklin and Velma Irene Dusenberry (Leib); his wife Sharon M. DeSmet; his grandsons, Eric and Brandon Calloway; and his siblings, David, Carl, Donnie, Karen and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Calloway (Debbie), Jeff Calloway, Dawn Mooney, Milan and Dusty Dusenberry (Julie); his sisters, Marie and Linda; and his caregivers, Becky, Samantha, Angie and Samuel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
