We are sad to announce that, on November 4, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Sandra Hughes of Rock Island, Illinois, born in Bevier, Missouri. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Sandra Hughes to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leotho Mason Shoemaker and Florence Alma Mason Shoemaker; her husband Frank Madison Hughes; and her son Specialist Michael Patrick Pittman. She is survived by: her former husband Ronald Gene Woodruff; her children, Mark Woodruff (Terry) of Geneseo, IL, Rebecca Wilson (Jay) and Kirk Pittman (Jennifer); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Pittman of Davenport, FL; and her stepchildren, Pastor David Hughes (Marcia) of Bushnell, IL, Frankie Trowbridge (David), Kathy Baumgartner (Gary) and Teresa Fiksen. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private family services for Mrs. Hughes will be 1 pm, Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island and may be live-streamed at https: //http://www.wheelanpressly.com.

Memorials may be made to the family.
